Science can look like a miracle to those who have never seen it. Think of all the time-travel tropes in movies where the person traveled back in time with a lighter in their pocket. With every click and resulting flame, the person looked like a magician or a god to those who had never experienced that technology.
We are surrounded by incalculable mysteries. For as much as we know about the human body, there’s more that we don’t know. And we don’t even know the breadth, depth, and full scope of all we have yet to discover.
In the end, I come back to the healing power of love. The science can’t prove love heals, but maybe with enough time and more knowledge about human energy systems, we’ll be able to understand the mystical, magical, miraculous healing power of love.
