I conceptualized Spiritual Geography as a mountain, with infinite ways of climbing the mountain of spirituality to the top where one has a wider vista. What if I’m wrong? What if there is only one viable path to the truth?
[Don’t worry - I’m not going rogue or anything. This is my thought exercise to get me back to where I started - love as the source of all.]
Religions change over time. Spiritual beliefs change over time. And yet people talk about their faith as if they have the definitive Truth. Their “definitive Truth” probably looks a lot different from someone who wore the same label of faith a century ago. Yet that person probably thought they had the “definitive Truth,” too.
Humans have argued for millennia over points of religion that today seem ludicrous. What may seem ludicrous to our descendants 100 years from now?
When are we going to understand the definitive Truth is out of our reach? And, therefore, we should stop forcing our “Truth” on others as the only one that matters. The only way forward.
People experience Divine Love in innumerable ways. Shouldn’t that be the end goal? To connect more people to the Divine, to connect to the Divine at a deeper level?
I can’t be wrong about love. I will keep saying that we can grow more love. Healing ourselves and growing more love. Healing relationships and finding compassion for others and growing more love. And, yes, finding ways to connect to the Divine and grow more love.
Love has to be the light that can shine through even the darkest night.
