Having grown up Roman Catholic and experiencing the day I had to take the risk and tell my family that I was gay, I can relate to this very much!
I agree that our spirituality would breed a kinder world if it was accepting of everyone's individual journey and focus on the things we all have in common to create connection. For example: We are all trying to figure out this experience called life no matter how much we think we have it all together and figured out, if we're honest, it's still all a mystery.
I'd like to connect from there and be curious about it all from limitless possibility!
